Overview

The Credit Trade Support team support the Credit/Distressed, covering the Credit/Distressed market across all legal entities. The team has daily interaction with various teams including trading, sales, finance and other ops group. They are responsible for day-to-day desk coverage, trade booking, trade amendments and break resolution.

What You'll Do

  • Creation, resolution, and delivery of FOBO reports highlighting daily position and EOD pricing breaks; communicate daily with the trading desk to ensure proper trade bookings and complete trade flow; perform trade amendments/booking for trading due to system limitations; handle future claim litigation rolls; coordinate wire transfers with appropriate teams; assist in reactivating broker accounts; review and action various queues for potential trade failures; monitor trades to ensure trading and sales trades match on economics; investigate, provide commentary, and resolve fails, intercompany breaks, and all pending trades in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with static data teams and set up securities in Bloomberg; maintain team procedures and the Business Continuity Management document; liaise with the corporate action team on events; provide various metrics and MIS on a daily/weekly basis; input daily commentary for control standards

  • Monitor TRACE and maintain static data in front-end systems; perform 4-eye P/L checks (Lola); test system enhancements prior to release; maintain strong market and regulatory knowledge and appropriate escalation awareness.

  • Oversee EOD consolidation and ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation at the end of each day

  • Utilize and maintain proficiency in systems including STS, Tradegate, Andromeda, Dbond, ICI, Bloomberg, CPTS (Cash post trade services), DTE, Autobahn, and Navigator

  • Support ongoing team and business process improvements through procedure documentation, system testing, and collaboration with various teams to ensure operational effectiveness

Skills You'll Need

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to utilize different techniques to resolve problems

  • Candidate must be able to work in a high pressure environment due to the fact that a significant portion of the transactions are processed and settle real time, on-line with critical dead-line

  • Excellent technical skills: Candidate must be proficient in PC desk-top applications; i.e., Microsoft office suite Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills: Candidate must have excellent communication/oral skills

  • Interact well with other team members; i.e., Clients, Sales, Trading, Ops, Bookrunners, IT counterparts in other back/middle office ops teams, Legal, Compliance, Business managers, etc.

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $54,000 to $83,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
