Job Description:

AriensCo is looking to hire a dynamic and passionate Manufacturing Training Lead to play a vital role in building a strong, skilled workforce by designing, delivering, and sustaining impactful training programs. This position supports new employee onboarding, skill development, and ongoing operational excellence-ensuring employees have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

In this role, the Manufacturing Trainer partners closely with Operations, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify skill gaps, strengthen processes, and champion a culture of learning, growth, and continuous improvement across the facility.

THE DAY TO DAY...

Training & Onboarding

  • Ownership of onboarding process for all new manufacturing employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization

  • Deliver handson training for production processes, equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards

  • Maintain training schedules, documentation, and competency records

  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and additional support as needed

  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to refine onboarding workflows and improve newhire readiness

Curriculum Development

  • Create and update training materials, standard work instructions, visual aids, and job aids

  • Ensure training content aligns with current processes, safety regulations, and quality requirements

  • Develop crosstraining programs to support workforce flexibility and skill development

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with CI/Lean teams to identify process inefficiencies, skill gaps, and trainingrelated improvement opportunities

  • Support implementation of Lean tools such as 5S, standard work, rootcause analysis, and Kaizen events

  • Gather feedback from trainees, supervisors, and operators to refine training programs and improve learning outcomes

  • Monitor performance metrics related to training effectiveness, onboarding success, and operational improvements

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all training programs meet regulatory, safety, and company compliance standards

  • Reinforce safe work practices and contribute to a strong safety culture

  • Maintain accurate training records for audits and compliance reviews

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, or related field required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including experience in training, coaching, or onboarding employees

  • Previous experience creating or maintaining standard work, job aids, or training materials

  • Experience leading groups or facilitating training sessions is highly valuable

  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
