Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in New Castle, DE. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • As a repair and return coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for UTEX and repair services, ensuring timely execution, supplier performance, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • This role partners closely with suppliers, warehouse and logistics teams, project stakeholders, and sales to drive repair turnaround performance, delivery reliability, and total cost optimization.
  • Execute complex buying strategies for UTEX and repair services to ensure timely delivery of materials and services; expedite orders as needed and secure approvals within established purchasing limits
  • Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, resolving delivery, quality, and supplier performance issues
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain and manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and required repair documentation
  • Partner with warehouse and materials teams to ensure repair shipments are completed accurately and on time, both systemically and physically
  • Maintain and update purchasing systems and project plans, reviewing requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases
  • Define, communicate, and track schedules, risks, changes, opportunities, and resource needs related to repair and UTEX activities
  • Align with stakeholders on project prioritization and execution requirements
  • Track supplier performance against original and revised schedules; monitor and report open orders, confirmation ratios, delivery capability, and on-time delivery metrics
  • Ensure adherence to workflow turnaround time KPIs for the Core Return and repair processes
  • Communicate repair status, risks, and Supply Chain Management activities effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Drive supplier delivery improvement initiatives and lead late order resolution efforts
  • Collaborate with strategic category management, supplier quality, sales, project logistics, and warehouse teams to improve the total cost of ownership for repair and UTEX services
  • Leverage existing procurement policies and compliance requirements while identifying process improvements and continuous improvement opportunities.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, buying, or operations, preferably supporting repair or service programs
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating with warehouse, logistics, and cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools
  • Experience supporting UTEX, repair, overhaul, or return processes
  • Familiarity with supplier performance metrics, KPIs, and delivery reliability tracking
  • Experience with international purchasing and logistics coordination
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
  • Strong ability to manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and drive performance improvements.
