| Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
University Development's purpose is to support the mission of the university by raising private resources to enhance financial support for students, faculty, programs, and facilities. University Development provides leadership and centralized services to all development offices throughout the University, serving as a focal point for annual giving, application development and IT support; campaign management; constituent programs; corporate and foundation relations; donor relations; gift planning; gift services; industry relations; marketing/communications; parents giving; principal gifts; prospect management, research and analytics; regional programs; scholarships and student aid; talent management; university events; and volunteer engagement.

| Position Summary |
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy.
UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The [Davie Support Coordinator] will report to the Davie Projects and Support Manager which is part of the larger Application Development team within the University Development Office (
UDO). The focus of this position is to reinforce ongoing efforts within the Davie support team to review, update and create training materials and supporting documentation for users and trainees and include basic data entry and processes.
Davie is the internal nickname for the Customer Relationship Management (
CRM) system used for
UNC fundraising efforts, which runs on the Blackbaud
CRM platform. The Davie Support team manages the help desk system that supports approximately 600 users who use Davie on a daily basis. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
| Management Preferences |
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong documentation review and editing skills.
Comfortable reading and understanding technical documentation and web-based/
CRM processes (non-technical role).
Familiarity with basic
CRM concepts; experience with systems such as Salesforce, Blackbaud, or Raiser's Edge preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
Ability to support data entry, spreadsheet management, and collaborate with business analyst teams to improve
CRM-related processes; fundraising knowledge a plus. |
