Job Summary

The key roles of this position are supporting Helpdesk and Asset Management. This role enables the employee gain real-world experience in the work force by working with the IT department.

Job Responsibilities

  • Asset Management

    • Computer setup, repair, decommission and recycling
    • Spare parts organization


  • Helpdesk

    • Computer Maintenance
    • End user set up and support via phone and in person
    • Support Printers


  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Support related improvement projects as assigned.
  • Completes Key Job Requirements and other tasks related to this position as assigned by cognizant management.

Job Qualifications

Education



  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science


Essential



  • MUST BE A U.S Citizen
  • Education: Student actively attending an IT related area of studies.
  • Previous IT support experience is beneficial.
  • Strong writing and communication skills are required.
  • Experience with Microsoft products is beneficial.
  • Support the vision and mission for the Company, and the strategies and processes to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and management.
  • Support the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment by adhering to Company policy and various government regulations.
  • Comply with the GKN Compliance and Ethics Policy on Contracting with the United States Government in all areas of responsibility involving direct and indirect contracting with the United States Government.
