Description

InterMetro Industries is seeking a Sales Success Specialist to join our Customer Service team at the Corporate HQ located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The Sales Success Specialist provides consistent, exceptional support for daily activities with customers, internal customers, department members, and sales representatives in maintaining a proper level of service. This position has assigned territory responsibilities. In addition, this role has extended activities with the Territory Managers by providing coordination and assistance with routine tasks which allows more time for selling activities.

Primary Responsibilities:



  1. Provide timely support via phone, email, or live chat to customers regarding orders, products, services, problem situations or other inquiries.
  2. Refer customers to CS Supervisors or designated resources as required.
  3. Record details of customer contacts and actions taken.
  4. Manage assigned territory.
  5. Handle RMAs.
  6. Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit matters.
  7. Provide feedback to the company on the efficiency of the customer service process, product/service failures or customer concerns.
  8. Submit requests on behalf of Sales/Customers for literature.
  9. Manage incoming requests from Sales/Customers on lead-time, order status, quote status, sample requests.
  10. Critical order monitoring.
  11. Recommendation of alternative products to satisfy customer requirements.
  12. Manage issues relating to customer dissatisfaction including, including, but not limited to, Shipping Damage, Quality issues, missing product, service issues.
  13. Expediting customer orders.
  14. Submit Credits/Debits, RMAs, and other customer related requirements.
  15. Handle Metro.com quotes and quotes follow up for covered territories.
  16. Participate in programs integrated with sales such as following up with dealers on open bids, support lead source programs, and perform contact prospecting.
  17. Coordinate regular meetings with Territory managers and champion resolution of service issues or requests needing acceleration.
  18. Possess knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics. Contribute to a workplace environment that is conducive to the maintenance of the Code. Remain alert and sensitive to situations that could result in actions by an employee that are illegal, unethical, in violation of the Code or the policies and procedures that support the Code. Report actual or perceived violations of the Code or Company policies and procedures for appropriate action.
  19. Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Work Experience: 5 - 8 years in related field
