Position Overview






Primary Purpose of Position
Reporting directly to the Head Coach for the Volleyball program with the primary responsibility to support the Head Coach in administration of a competitive Volleyball program that adheres to all University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach, assist with scouting and recruiting of student-athletes, assist with promotions and fund raising, monitor the training, academic progress and eligibility status of student-athletes, manage team travel and oversee the discipline, conduct and image of student athletes.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required. 1-2 years of collegiate coaching preferred or 1 or more years of high school/club experience.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years collegiate coaching experience, or collegiate or professional playing experience, high school and club coaching. Should have good communication skills, written and oral, good organizational skills and be able to multi-task. Have some experience in Microsoft word and excel and experience with social media platforms.
Required License or Certification
Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. On-site (Employees are primarily in the office and/or have a critical job requirement that requires dedicated office space on-site)
