AGENCY SUPPORTED: Department of the Navy - Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (CNSL) Mission Readiness, Alteration Baseline, Integration & Network Infrastructure Support Services

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Award (Anticipated Mid-March)

LOCATION: Norfolk, VA

CLEARANCE: Active Secret (minimum required)

We are seeking a Microsoft Office 365 Power Applications Specialist to support enterprise collaboration, workflow automation, and data-driven business solutions in a mission-focused environment based in Norfolk, VA. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions that improve operational efficiency, reporting, and process automation across the organization.

The specialist will work closely with functional stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI solutions integrated with Microsoft 365 services.



Responsibilities

    Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Build custom business applications and automated workflows using Office 365 and Power Platform tools
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 services
  • Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into functional technical designs
  • Develop forms, dashboards, and automated processes to streamline business operations
  • Create and maintain data connections across multiple Microsoft and external data sources
  • Support lifecycle management of Power Platform solutions, including testing, deployment, and updates
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power Apps, flows, connectors, and data integrations
  • Implement security roles and data access controls within Power Platform solutions
  • Document application architecture, workflows, and user guides
  • Provide user support, training, and knowledge transfer for developed solutions
  • Follow governance and best practices for Power Platform and Microsoft 365 environments


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT, applications development, or enterprise systems support
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Power Apps
    • Power Automate
    • Power BI
    • Microsoft Office 365 / Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Experience building production-grade business applications and automated workflows
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 data sources
  • Experience with data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active Secret clearance (minimum) required at time of hire

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft 365 certifications
  • Experience with Dataverse and advanced connectors/APIs
  • Experience implementing Power Platform governance and environment controls
  • Experience supporting government or DoD environments
