DESCRIPTION

Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst supports critical finance, payroll and timekeeping projects. This role will be responsible for developing training materials, delivering training and driving key change management strategies under the direction of the Change Management / Communications Lead. This role will work independently as well as collaboratively with internal team members, project stakeholders, and other central and system-wide entities. The role will partner with stakeholders to understand technical system functionality and business processes to develop training materials for administrators and end users. This role will be responsible for delivering effective communication and training via multiple channels to ensure accurate and timely content delivery. This role requires superior communication skills including writing clear, concise, grammatically, and factually correct training materials.

Training:

Ability to comprehend and leverage technical and functional knowledge of a Timekeeping and Scheduling system and leverage functionality to optimize, creation, presentation and communication of knowledge and training content. Translate technical and/or complex issues into easy-to-understand explanations to key audiences. Effectively deliver training to targeted audiences through multiple platforms including Instructor-led and on-line training.

Instructional Design & Curriculum Development:

Design and develop instructional content for various formats, including e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning. Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to create engaging, practical training solutions. Write clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with business goals and curriculum strategy. Build e-learning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar platforms. Develop multimedia elements (videos, graphics, animations) to enhance the learning experience. Maintain, update, and ensure the relevance of existing training content.Develop assessments and evaluation strategies to measure learning effectiveness and performance impact. Ensure learning materials meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508). Deliver engaging and effective training to diverse audiences using various modalities (online, in-person, hybrid). Tailor delivery style and communication to suit audience needs, backgrounds, and levels of understanding. Support deployment and feedback collection for continuous improvement of training programs.

Change Management:

Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs. Seek to understand stakeholders by actively listening, gathering, and leveraging information to help drive effective training to ensure organization readiness. Ability to recognize cross functional data impact and collects pertinent details to better understand problems and identify opportunities for improvement through training or effective communication.

Communication:

Ability to convey information and ideas clearly and concisely to stakeholders in an engaging manner that helps the targeted audience understand and retain the message. Ability to effectively communicate to a broad and diverse audience and tailor approach based on targeted audience. Ability to succinctly communicate complex issues and its importance (impact on the individual/team/organization); stresses major points clearly; follows a logical sequence. Communicate effectively (written and verbal) to best match customer style, needs, and level of understanding in creating optimal customer interaction. Communication style includes accurate and grammatically correct support based on channel (email, case management, knowledge article).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Related experience: Content Management e.g. Email Marketing, Website Design, Change Management, Stakeholder Communication & Influence, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, and Instructional Design.

  • Thorough analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and strong collaboration and negotiation skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of organization policies and procedures, including policies that impact online course development.

  • Thorough knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies, including needs analysis, backwards design, learning outcomes and assessment design, and instructional approaches including lecture, discussion, activities, projects, etc.

  • Thorough knowledge of the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content, and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning.

  • Thorough knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems.

  • Thorough knowledge of applying adult learning theories and educational methodologies.

  • Thorough knowledge of e-learning strategies including but not limited to courses (e.g., processes and technologies, etc.).

  • Advanced level skills in application of planning, resourcing and monitoring of effective design life cycles of training and other learning and performance solutions to support the organization.

  • Knowledge to conduct appropriate job and task analyses in the context of instructional design of technical or specialized training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Writing knowledge articles or documentation

  • Creating clear, audience-appropriate communication

  • Navigating or supporting enterprise systems (EHR, ERP, payroll, scheduling, HRIS)

  • Creating content in LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Workday Learning, Saba, Canvas)

  • Designing learning in Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite

  • Proficiency in instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proficiency in using systems (e.g. UCPath, ServiceNow and MyEmma).

  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.

  • Ability to advise and develop various aspects of communications, ranging from developing effective communication strategies to appropriately responding to inquiries regarding sensitive or complex issues or information.

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills to clearly, concisely, and logically articulate ideas, using appropriate editorial style and grammar; ability to translate technical information and concepts into easily understandable language for a diverse audience.

  • Demonstrated skill in independently analyzing situations, interpreting data, defining problems and/or objectives, identifying relevant factors, developing alternative solutions, making final recommendations, implementing, and evaluating the results.

  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with stakeholders to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, subordinates, and managers.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems

  • Experience in healthcare.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and learning data standards (e.g., WCAG, xAPI).

  • Familiarity with video production and editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond).

  • Background in mobile learning design and performance improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Demonstrated ability to share knowledge with others to help them become more effective.

  • Ability to keep abreast of constantly changing systems, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $71,600 - $127,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $34.29 - $61.02

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
