Summary: Leads and conducts activities of FSQA Leads and Technicians responsible for the food safety and quality assurance of production processes, materials, and products Note: FSQA Foreperson II residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered. Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
Work environment (includes travel/on-call): The employee will frequently be subject to the following conditions: Wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, subject to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme heat and cold, and vibration. The work environment is loud. Physical demands: This position may be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy loads and working in cold environments. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
