Overview

The Senior Director Product Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of a product portfolio for Cotiviti. This position will lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts, collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands and business objectives. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, a customer-centric mindset, and a track record of successful product lifecycle management.



Responsibilities

    Define and communicate the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a product management team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product innovation and differentiation
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development through launch and continuous improvements
  • Set and measure key product metrics to evaluate success and inform future decisions
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and industry thought leader both internally and externally
  • Influence executive leadership, presenting business cases and gaining buy-in for strategic initiatives
  • Ensure efficient use of resources, managing product budgets and timelines, to get products released on schedule
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development process
  • Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in product management within software or other high-tech industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role; healthcare technology experience preferre
  • Proven ability to develop and launch successful software products in B2B and/or B2C markets
  • Demonstrated experience building, leading, and mentoring high-performing product teams
  • Deep understanding of agile product development methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Strategic thinking with a bias for action, and a customer-obsessed approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access / connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Base compensation ranges from $189,000 to $215,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
