What you will accomplish as an HR Coordinator at TAPCO:

The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing human resources tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions within an organization. The HR Coordinator will support the full employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while helping create a positive and engaging employee experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
  • Lead the recruiting function (interview scheduling, conducting interviews, candidate communication)
  • Coordinate and run new hire onboarding activities (orientation, paperwork, system access, welcome communications)
  • Serve as a friendly first point of contact for employee questions and HR requests
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support performance review processes and employee development programs
  • Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Continue to expand knowledge of HR by providing support to the HR team

Required Experience and Knowledge/ Skills/Ability:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of HR, administrative, or customer-facing experience
  • Outgoing, approachable personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoy working with people and helping support and solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset
