Job Title: Spine Patient Navigator Location(s): San Francisco, CA Position Overview The Spine Patient Navigator provides high-level administrative and patient support within a busy outpatient spine clinic. This role serves as a primary point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in coordinating care, supporting physicians/surgeons during clinic operations, and ensuring a seamless patient experience from initial contact through treatment and follow-up. This position requires prior experience supporting outpatient clinics and directly assisting patients in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for patients via phone and in person.
- Answer and triage patient calls with professionalism and accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate clinic appointments and follow-ups.
- Support physicians/surgeons during clinic sessions.
- Guide patients through the continuum of care, including diagnostics, referrals, and treatment planning.
- Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures (preferred experience).
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage administrative workflows.
- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting an outpatient clinic environment.
- Experience handling patient phone calls and appointment scheduling.
- Strong administrative healthcare background.
- Ability to support providers in a clinic setting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and patient service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with surgery scheduling.
- Experience navigating patients through specialty care pathways.
- College degree (preferred but not required).
Schedule:
- Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
