In this role, you will be consultative and leverage your expertise to enhance our impact by developing strategies and providing vital direction and support to assigned organizations. You will deliver creative solutions to talent challenges to attract top talent and you will partner with line managers and HR stakeholders to reduce burden and improve the hiring experience for both managers and candidates. We are seeking a subject matter expert that will work autonomously, loves data, is passionate about delivering on KPIs and creating new strategies to ongoing challenges.

On any given day, one may be called upon to:

• Take a consultative approach to identify talent needs in partnership with internal stakeholders and HR Business Partners.
• Engage in workforce planning to meet current talent demands and support future needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to assess needs and advise on strategic objectives.
• Create a positive candidate experience by conducting detailed phone interviews and guiding candidates through the hiring process.
• Identify hard-to-fill job requisitions and work with the technical recruiting team to ensure there is a strategic focus applied.
• Understand and enforce hiring policies and processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Utilize HR talent data and metrics to inform strategies.

The selected applicant can be a virtual worker located in any U.S. State or District of Columbia. Regular or periodic travel to your assigned work location may be required.

$87,400 - $168,800

*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

• A Bachelor's in Business, Human Resources, or another relevant field, plus 5 years related experience; or equivalent experience.
• Experience partnering with Hiring Managers for job intakes, developing job requisitions, doing in depth screening of applications, and completing phone interviews.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance.

• Experience using metrics to develop talent strategies and staffing plans.
• Knowledge of federal compliance programs related to talent acquisition.
• Proven ability to lead projects and implement projects within deadlines.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Familiarity with DOE or DoD facilities/contracts.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and Oracle Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience with high volume hiring.
• Previous experience in Sandia's Recruiting, Staffing, or Talent Acquisition organization.

The Talent Acquisition Staffing Team provides support in the pre-employment activities of external hires and internal post and bid movement of employees. This team works with hiring managers, candidates, and personnel in other Lab functions who also have a role in acquiring members of the workforce.

This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years.

Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.
