This role involves managing various supply activities for the US Navy, such as inventory management, material coordination, cataloging, and tool control. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aviation supply systems and Navy logistics, with a focus on maintaining stock levels, managing tools, and ensuring the timely delivery of required parts and materials to support operations. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Inventory Management: Manage inventory for decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. * Material Coordination: Coordinate the supply of materials for special programs, maintenance or production shops. * Cataloging and Supply Channels: Catalog supply items and manage supply channels according to agency regulations. * Supply Regulations Compliance: Ensure all actions are carried out within the framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures. * Communication and Coordination: Interact with operating officials and representatives of government agencies or commercial firms regarding supply needs, material descriptions, or procurement lead time. * Tool Control Program Management: Serve as the program manager for the tool control program, ensuring tools are properly maintained and accounted for. * Quality Assurance: Perform inspections and checks to ensure materials meet quality standards and correspond to receiving documents. * Aviation Material Control: Support aviation maintenance material control functions, ensuring the proper materials are available for aircraft maintenance. * OPTAR and AFM Compliance: Ensure proper management of Operational Target (OPTAR) and Aviation Fleet Maintenance (AFM) funding requirements. * Material Ordering and Expediting: Order parts and expedite the requisition process for aircraft parts, ensuring timely delivery and status updates to Maintenance Control. * Fuel and Flight Gear Tracking: Track daily fuel expenditures, produce reports, and maintain accurate inventories of flight gear and aircraft material readiness. Page 2 of 3 * Hazardous Material Control: Oversee hazardous material control and management functions in accordance with relevant regulations. * Tool Room Management: Perform tool room management tasks in compliance with established procedures, including metrology, calibration, and inventory tracking. * Reconciliation and Reporting: Assist with reconciliation of fuel expenditures, monthly reporting, and the end-of-year financial close-out. * Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed in OOMA or similar to OOMA systems ensuring compliance with 4790 and safety standards. Qualifications and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Must be able to read, write, and understand English. * Minimum of three (3) years of H-60 series aircraft maintenance experience (or equivalent rotary aircraft experience), with at least three (3) years of experience as a CDI/CDQAR. * MH60-R experience is preferred. * Obtain necessary certifications like CDI (Collateral Duty Inspector) or QAR (Quality Assurance Representative) * Ability to obtain and maintain required qualifications in line with US Navy maintenance guidelines. * Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, often in cross-cultural environments. * Proficiency with computer programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and NALCOMIS/OOMA. * Must be able to work various shifts depending on the flight schedule. * Required to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier-3 Background Investigation and possible secret clearance. * Must be able to work all shifts. Full time employment: however, 40-hours is not guaranteed per-week. Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule and or overall tasking. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License.
