The Client Marketing Strategist partners closely with Sales to support clients throughout the full campaign lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through execution and optimization. This role collaborates with the Sales representative as a joint point of contact for the client, ensuring all campaigns are strategically aligned, effectively executed, and deliver measurable results.

This role serves as a strategic advisor for assigned accounts, owning overall health, retention, and growth strategy of their book of business. The Client Account Strategist translates client business objectives into actionable campaign plans, leads performance discussions, proactively identifies expansion opportunities, and ensures seamless client experience from onboarding through renewal.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Partner with Sales during pre-sale discovery and strategy discussions to align on client goals, scope, and success metrics.
* Translate client objectives into actionable campaign strategies and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality execution aligned with defined success metrics.
* Acts as a partner on recurring performance reviews and client business reviews, presenting insights, results, and forward-looking recommendations to stakeholders, including senior-level decision makers as appropriate.
* Monitor campaign performance and client health, proactively identifying optimization opportunities, expansion potential, and risk mitigation strategies.
* Partner with Sales and internal stakeholders on renewal planning, scope evaluation, and account growth initiatives.
* Drive continuous improvement in client experience, internal processes, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance overall account performance

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
* Agency experience
* 6 years of relevant experience in client success, account management, digital marketing, or related client-facing roles, with demonstrated responsibility for client retention and account growth
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio or book of business, building trusted client relationships and driving retention and growth in partnership with Sales and cross-functional teams
* Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing performance to broader client objectives and translate insights into strategic recommendations
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience leading client-facing discussions and delivering performance insights to diverse stakeholder audiences, including senior level decision makers
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret campaign data and guide optimization and account strategy
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with digital ad operations, campaign analytics platforms, and CRM systems preferred

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
