Design Producer This is a 4-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA. Summary
This role sits within a Product & Design organization where design is central to innovation, products, and customer experiences. The Design Producer will lead and manage design and imagery production initiatives, driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and high-quality launches while advocating for strong user experiences. - Several years of experience supporting design, production, or product teams in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for design and user experience with a strong foundation in project management and production workflows
- Proficient in tools such as Numbers, Pages, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, and collaboration platforms like Quip
- Familiar with cross-functional product and production processes
- Skilled in collaborating with Design, Creative, Retouching, Production, Product Management, Engineering, and Business teams
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects, image schedules, and shifting priorities independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strategic thinker who proactively solves problems, manages risk, and improves processes
Job Description
In this role, you will manage multiple concurrent design and imagery production initiatives across products and releases, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and asset delivery expectations are met. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, align priorities, and drive day-to-day execution.
- Initiate and run concurrent projects while maintaining clear timelines and stakeholder alignment
- Manage image schedules, tracking, resource coordination, and daily/weekly status reporting
- Facilitate brainstorms, design reviews, and pre- and post-production meetings
- Capture key decisions, risks, and action items while proactively unblocking stalled work
- Ensure timely handoff of design specifications and imagery assets to engineering and partners
- Review builds and final outputs to ensure design and asset integrity
- Collaborate with Producers and production teams to streamline workflows and improve processes
- Partner with asset management teams to ensure proper archiving of final assets
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Background in design, product development, production, UX, communications, or related disciplines preferred
Additional Requirements
This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA and requires a hybrid onsite schedule The pay for this W-2 position is $74.64 per hour Option to extend beyond the initial 4-month term This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
