Job Summary We are seeking a .NET (or equivalent) developer who will design, develop, and support IT applications for NRG's Natural Gas Risk applications. These applications support NRG's Gas Trading business and compute positions, mark-to-market values, exposure and other quantitative metrics. In this role, the developer will be expected to adapt their work to utilize emerging generative AI capabilities (such as Cursor, CoPilot, or Claude), producing intelligent solutions with improved efficiency and automation. The developer will work closely with Trading, Operations, Risk, Accounting, and IT teams to build secure, reliable, and high-performing applications using .NET technologies, SQL, and modern web frameworks. The base salary range for this position is $101,200-167,040 *The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
