The Role: As the Quality Engineer, you will develop and initiate company-wide inspection, testing, and evaluation standards. You will create sampling procedures and designs and set forms for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
The Quality Engineers establish programs to evaluate analytical testing, equipment, facilities, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance testing. Your Responsibilities:
- Specialize in quality control engineering, including
design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, systems performance, hardware performance, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application. - Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposing of discrepant material and devise strategies to assess cost and responsibility.
- Directs workers in measuring, testing, and tabulating data concerning quality and reliability.
- Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
- Recommend revisions and updates for standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed.
- Develops quality control and inspection test plans as required.
- Responds to customer survey communications promptly.
- Support and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs, and activities.
Our Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of working experience as a Quality Engineer with a Bachelor's degree from a college or university.
- Apply logical or scientific thinking principles to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Proven working experience interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with abstract and concrete variables.
- Proven working experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Experience effectively presenting information to cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders while being customer-facing.
Working experience with various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. - Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Suite.
