Position Summary:

Managing and accurately reporting a region of industrial properties, including lease entry, CAM reconciliations, net operating income, budgets and more. Also responsible for various accounting leadership tasks, contributing to the whole Company's operations, reporting and success.

Responsibiliites:

  • Works with Property Accountant and Property Accounting Manager on assigned region of industrial properties to ensure accurate lease entry
  • Review and monitor the property performance on a monthly basis, using actual to budget comparisons of property NOI
  • On a quarterly and annual basis, prepare and review property budgets within the system, including expenses and leasing assumptions
  • Prepare and review various property level and corporate level account reconciliations
  • Review and manage the annual tenant expense recovery reconciliation billings for assigned properties
  • Along with the Regional Management Team, monitor accounts receivable delinquencies and report as needed
  • Works with Accounting leadership to advance the use of technology to enhance operations and reporting
  • Supports the interaction with the external auditors to help the process run smoothly
  • Coordinates the preparation of the annual budget for properties and departments
  • Reviews and assesses portfolio performance through meaningful report preparation
  • Assists Company leadership by providing detailed property financial information as questions arise
  • Performs special projects as requested
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Acts in accordance with the values of the company and complies with all company processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; and 5-7 years of accounting and leadership experience, CPA preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with team members both in-person and virtually.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software with particular expertise in Excel
  • Proficient in standard corporate operating systems and software
  • Experience with Yardi property management software a plus; Deal Manger, Forecast Manager, CAM reconciliations, straight-line rent, elevate, etc.
  • Builds strong working relationships with all key customers
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively
  • Ability to perform actions and make decisions with a high degree of integrity
  • Excellent organizational skills and is detail oriented
  • Flexible with respect to work schedule; able to travel once or twice a year to conferences and regional visits
  • Possesses a strong business acumen with analytical and technical proficiency in all aspects of real estate industry accounting
  • Displays the self -initiative and dedication necessary for successful work completion
