SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing creative control of all marketing materials, including brochure design, mailer design, layouts for submittals, and company advertisements. This individual will work with the Marketing Coordinator in support of the sales group as necessary for requests related to presentations, graphics, and technical support of marketing production assets. The Marketing Manager will be actively involved in the entire marketing process associated with business opportunities, which will require Phoenix resources when formulating materials that best present Phoenix's capabilities. This position is Part-Time, hybrid, and reports to the Largo BD Manager. CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt (hourly) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages activities related to the preparation of marketing and sales materials.
- Manages the maintenance of all marketing resource materials (brochures, data, slides, color copies, photography, files) and the marketing database.
- Manages data quality within the marketing database.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to liaise with clients, consultants, photographers, service bureaus, printers, and suppliers.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to coordinate work with consultants and vendors (electronic data transfer, reprographics, binding, project photography, etc.).
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to provide technical resources and coordination for projects, requests, and presentations.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to organize, coordinate, author, and maintain (through IT) the Phoenix web site.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about Phoenix news and initiatives.
- Assists with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site collateral.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to create content regularly to grow the company's footprint (press releases, corporate announcements, and creative content such as PowerPoint presentations).
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and recommendations on areas for optimization.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to reach target clients and optimize marketing performance.
- Works with the Marketing Coordinator to build and manage Phoenix's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and other channels that may be deemed relevant.
- Complies with established Phoenix quality management system (QMS) processes and procedures.
- Assists with special project proposals as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Five years of experience as a professional in marketing and/or graphic design.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or technical related field desirable.
- Good organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Strong computer, graphics/layout, web authoring, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check, as required.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft's Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
