As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol in Lisle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible, watch for irregular activity, and support access points while delivering top-tier customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at gates, entrances, and/or shipping and receiving points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing traffic flow per site requirements.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or equipment issues through the appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
