Position SummaryThe Product Systems Engineer provides advanced technical support for computerized operations within a data center or centralized network environment. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, systems, and related infrastructure. The engineer also monitors system performance and utilization metrics, including supporting the integration of new equipment. Applying professional-level technical expertise and judgment, the Product Systems Engineer delivers non-routine technical support to ensure the reliability and efficiency of computer and data center operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining access controls, ensuring data integrity, and safeguarding file system security across the environment. The role involves monitoring, tracking, and documenting system performance metrics, as well as effectively communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the engineer recommends process improvements and hardware or software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades, to enhance overall system efficiency. This position may also contribute to broader IT and infrastructure development initiatives. QualificationsResponsibilities:
