What to Expect
The Regional Workplace team is responsible for overseeing all projects, programs, recurring services and related operational expense associated with our North America locations, inclusive of Sales, Service, Delivery, Collision, Semi, and Robotaxi sites. The role of Utility Analyst will act as the primary point of contact for all utility account analysis, escalations, accuracy of records, and optimization of spend, highlighting opportunities and anomalies across the fleet. Demonstrated utility industry knowledge related to facilities operations is preferred, as well as a demonstrated focus on mitigating service interruptions and providing financial forecasting and cost management for the portfolio. The right candidate will have strong analytical ability, exceptional communication skills, ability to build business partnerships with both third-party providers as well as across business units and demonstrate the ability to resolve challenging problems with minimal guidance.

What You'll Do
  • Ensure that utility records are accurate and up to date across all sites, including new sites coming online as well as those being decommissioned
  • Perform analysis of projected and forecasted utility spend, highlighting opportunities to improve costs and business operations
  • Manage relationship with 3rd party utility platform provider, ensuring contract performance metrics are met
  • Establish proactive and responsive resolution protocols for routine and emergency utility escalations to ensure uninterrupted business operations
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships that drive cost efficiency, speed, and quality outcomes for Tesla locations
  • Perform other cost/data analysis assignments supporting Regional Workplace Operations as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree in a field relevant to Business Planning & Analysis or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years customer relevant work experience (high velocity/high volume setting preferred)
  • Proven understanding of electricity markets, tariffs, and regulations
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal guidance and direction
  • Superior communication skills; written and verbal- ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of individuals
  • Enthusiasm for exceeding customer expectations and driving continuous improvements

    Expected Compensation
    $104,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
