THE ROLE:

A+E Global Media is seeking a highly organized and proactive Coordinator to support Lifetime's Scripted Development & Programming team, with a focus on Original Movies. This role provides administrative, creative, and operational support to senior programming executives while helping manage a high-volume slate of original movies from development through production and air. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring projects move efficiently across departments, maintaining organized systems, tracking materials and timelines, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about scripted storytelling who is eager to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced programming environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and scheduling support to senior programming executives.
  • Manage submissions, prioritize readings, and track status once in development.
  • Schedule and track all internal meetings for departments and coordinate with output and acquisitions departments.
  • Assist in tracking and coordinating scripted development and production across a robust slate of original movies.
  • Maintain, organize, and distribute project materials, scripts, cuts, and documentation across internal systems.
  • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and coordination with production accounting.
  • Serve as a liaison between Programming and internal departments including but not limited to Marketing, Legal, Scheduling, Production Management, and Finance.
  • Participate in development and production meetings, taking notes and tracking follow-ups.
  • Assist with research, presentations, and creative materials to support internal initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiencies across the team.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 2-4 years of experience in television, film, or entertainment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfort with learning new systems, applications, and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Airtable.
  • Pro-active and self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Experience supporting very busy development or production teams.
  • Comfort working with internal platforms, budgets, invoices, and tracking systems.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Keen attention to detail but also able to see the bigger picture as pertains to position
  • Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficient in utilizing internal platforms including PPL, Debut, Box, and related workflow systems is preferred
CompensationHourly Pay Range: $28.99 - $32.62 Annual Incentive Target: 5%
