What to Expect

We are seeking a talented Front End Software Engineer to join our team and help build world-class web applications using Angular. You will work on customer-facing applications, internal tools, and platforms that support Tesla's mission. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects at scale with a team of passionate engineers.


What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Angular 17+
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility
  • Implement modern Angular features including Signals, standalone components, and control flowsyntax
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) toenhance productivity and code quality
  • Strong proficiency in Angular (version 14+, preferably 17+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with Angular CLI, RxJS, and reactive programming patterns
  • Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with state management solutions (NgRx, NGXS, or Angular Signals)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and HttpClient
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or Jest)
  • Strong understanding of Angular change detection and performance optimization

    Expected Compensation
    $140,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
