The Electrical Helper assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at construction sites and customer facilities. This role supports licensed electricians and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and codes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist electricians in assembling, installing, and maintaining conduit systems, including aluminum, PVC-coated, GRC, IMC, stainless steel, and PVC.
  • Use saws, drills, impact tools, and pipe threaders to cut, thread, and install conduit per specifications and NEC requirements.
  • Aid in connecting and installing electrical components under the supervision of licensed personnel.
  • Review and learn to interpret blueprints and diagrams to support accurate installation.
  • Participate in overall job site clean-up daily and at completion of the project.
  • Work in compliance with all company and OSHA safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts and personnel lifts as required. (Training for this will be provided to the employee).
  • Travel as required

Education & Years of Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, team members may be required to visit alternate locations, and therefore must have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to do so. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The team member is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
