Airport Security Officer - Full Time Patrol

As a Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon/Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Experience in CCTV Monitoring and 1+ year of security experience

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; conditions may vary by assignment and weather.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, checking credentials and/or authorizations as required and reporting unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public agencies when needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activity through written reports and radio and/or phone communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
