As a Security Officer - Gate Control Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location where you will support access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and managing entry points with clear, professional communication. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, managing sign-in logs, and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or CCTV where applicable, and report irregular activity per site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting hazards, access concerns, and/or policy violations and escalating as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
