As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. This armed post requires an Armed Guard Card or license and aligns with Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or hazardous conditions and reporting findings.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting assistance from site leadership and/or public services when needed.
• Control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitors, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per location requirements.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, operate security-related systems such as CCTV and access control, and follow all firearms handling, carry, and storage requirements outlined in post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
