Security Officer - Full Time - Morning

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Morning in Wausau, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage production location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control for staff, contractors, and deliveries. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and dispatch, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points by checking identification and/or visitor credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and documenting deliveries, pickups, and vendor arrivals.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or alarms through the established chain of command.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
