About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery Production (Machine Operator) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a Machine Operator, you will be accountable for safely and efficiently running production line equipment, maintaining product quality, minimizing waste, and ensuring accurate documentation to support consistent, highquality output.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 10:00PM - 6:30AM
• Weekend availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate production line equipment to ensure products meet all quality, safety, and company standards
• Monitor product size, weight, texture, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, including rollers, belts, sifters, and surrounding work areas
• Communicate effectively with Inspectors, Mixers, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Supervisors to resolve issues and maintain workflow
• Document downtime, production data, and line status accurately and legibly each shift
• Support safe operations by following GMPs, reporting concerns, and preventing foreignmaterial risks
• Participate in shifttoshift communication, training of new operators, and continuous improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good communication skills in English, with ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Ability to make logical decisions and troubleshoot routine equipment issues
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. as required
• Comfortable working in conditions that may be cold, hot, wet, noisy, dusty, or confined

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Previous experience in a foodmanufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating mechanical or electrical production equipment
• Strong teamwork skills and comfort working in a fastpaced environment
• Ability to support training and crossfunctional communication
