The role supports coordination between the Purchasing function and all Vehicle Program teams (Engineering / Manufacturing / Cost Engineering). This includes responsibility of a dedicated perimeter, supporting the PPM during development by managing Cost Collaboration of the Change Management Process with stakeholders (including suppliers) through NA IT system. The mission is to connect internal and external partners to make Change Management governance the quickest and most efficient (cost / technical change) possible for the company. This program buyer role will align to our regional NA structure and report to the NA Cost Manager. This role is critical to improve efficiency and cost control for technical changes across all vehicle platforms. Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
