As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will greet employees, drivers, and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry points, and maintain accurate logs. You will help to monitor alarms and camera activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at employee, visitor, and vehicle entry points by verifying identification, issuing badges and/or visitor passes, maintaining entry logs, and directing deliveries to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and access control systems to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events, preserving incident details, and coordinating with on-site teams and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, staging areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help reduce unauthorized access and/or operational disruptions, reporting maintenance and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
