Job Description




As a Security Officer - Driver Route Patrol in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, support access control, and document security-related observations to help reduce incidents. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards to operations, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points, checking identification and/or visitor credentials, directing deliveries, and documenting entries and exits per site requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, observations, and incidents, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and onsite stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
