As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate with staff and visitors, respond to concerns, and document observations while delivering customer service with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization as required, directing visitors to proper destinations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate status updates to supervision, and coordinate with local public agencies as needed for incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
