As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds Officer in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while using technology and teamwork to stay agile and reliable. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and/or visitors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, as permitted by site guidelines.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious conditions that may help to deter incidents; report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as directed and coordinating with on-site management and/or public services when needed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in written reports, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
