As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Rounds in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel, and respond to issues with calm, customer-focused professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal contacts and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, watching for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access points as assigned, verify credentials where required, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity per site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift handoff notes, and communicate observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
