Security Officer - Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and provide a welcoming customer service experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points for employees, vendors, and drivers by verifying credentials as required, controlling visitor entry, and directing deliveries to designated areas per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate, and completing required reports.
• Observe and report conditions such as open doors, broken seals, damaged fencing, or unusual vehicle activity, and communicate findings to site contacts and/or dispatch per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1+ years of security experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card/license is preferred.
• Having customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
