Human Resources Assistant

Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

We have recently moved operations into a newly renovated 300,000 sq. foot facility that will foster our continued growth as we continue to be recognized as the undisputed leaders in our industry.

As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team.

The Human Resources Assistant duties will provide support to the HR team and will include, but not be limited to:

• Assisting the HR team with all paperwork involved in the hiring process
• File documents and maintain employee files
• Assist HR team with data entry
• Provide various administrative support for the HR team including answering phones, greeting visitors and assisting with customer lunches

Requirements:

• Some post-secondary education, bachelor's degree preferred
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Able to work independently on tasks and self-motivated
• Comfortable working in an environment of changing priorities
