UNC Hospitals Rehabilitation Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologistto join our outpatient interdisciplinary team with clinical experience in pediatric feeding disorders. In this full-time position, you will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients from infancy to young adults with a variety of complex feeding needs individually and in a feeding team setting. Candidate should be familiar with a variety of strategies and be able towork closely with gastroenterologists, dieticians, and speech-language pathologists, as well as with other providers in interdisciplinary clinics. This role offers the opportunity to work with adiverse patient population and colleagues that are truly invested in and passionate about the care they deliver. You will work in collaboration with our dynamic and experienced pediatric focused therapy team both in a team clinic setting, but also individually to deliver optimal outcomes and build strong therapeutic relationships. In addition to patient care, you will engage in mentorship, professional development, student placements, and clinical program development, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on individual patients, future therapists, and the broader community. Work Schedule: Work Schedule: Summary: Speech Language Pathologist I provides evidence-based evaluation, treatment interventions, and educational instruction to patients and caregivers with various diagnoses and impairments affecting communication, swallowing, cognition and other disorders. The clinician provides student shadowing, clinical instruction, and participates in departmental and community continuing education and outreach.
