Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy (New Montrose location)

The Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC) invites applications for multiple full-time clinical faculty positions at a new outpatient location in Montrose, CA. These positions support adult rehabilitation and Lifestyle Redesign services within USC Care and offer the opportunity to practice in a dynamic academic healthcare setting.

The Division seeks clinicians with expertise in hand therapy, orthopedics, lymphedema therapy, and Lifestyle Redesign. Applicants should have experience working with adult physical rehabilitation populations and chronic conditions, and must hold a current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of California.

Clinical responsibilities may include neurological and cognitive rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury; lymphedema management, with preference given to candidates who are Certified Lymphedema Therapists; musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation; and chronic condition management, with Lifestyle Redesign training and certification preferred. Faculty assignments will be determined based on clinical expertise, prior experience, and organizational needs, allowing clinicians to develop focused specialty practices or contribute across multiple service lines.

These roles provide the opportunity to integrate patient care with program development, clinical instruction, and scholarly activity within an interdisciplinary academic environment. The anticipated start date for these positions is July 1, 2026. The annual base salary range is $80,000 to $115,000.
