Job Description




As a Security Officer - Entry Screening Part-Time in Elm Grove, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet team members and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry and exit points, and monitor alarms and access systems to help support smooth operations. You will communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and provide customer service while partnering with site leadership. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, processing visitor and contractor sign-in, and directing drivers and deliveries to designated areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control activity; document irregularities and notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with onsite personnel and public responders when required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
