Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol parking areas and interior spaces, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist customers and store teams with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor and document suspicious behavior, policy violations and/or disturbances, and complete accurate reports and logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Assist with access control and loss prevention support by observing high-traffic areas, responding to alarms and/or calls for assistance, and coordinating with store personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
