Verizon recently acquired Frontier and plans to transition non-union Frontier employees into Verizon compensation and benefits programs. This position will be part of that planned transition.
Network Architect Engineer This position is responsible for researching, designing, and deploying PON and WiFi technologies across Frontier's network. A successful candidate should have a deep understanding of Service Provider-related technologies such as: Passive Optical Networks, Routing Protocols, WiFi, IoT Technologies, DSL Technologies, and Layer 2 Ethernet. He or she should also have a good understanding of common business/financial drivers and be capable of considering those impacts when developing strategies. The ability to be self-driven and multi-task several complex projects are also key attributes for a successful candidate. PLEASE NOTE: This position requires that you will report in-office to either our Lewisville, TX location or our Fort Wayne, IN location. This is NOT a remote opportunity.
