Our Internship Development program is designed to provide Interns with real-world experience in the banking and financial services industry. Under close supervision with a designated supervisor, an Intern is responsible for observing Corporate policies and procedures to acquire knowledge and build skills while working with a specific department, division, or on a special project. The duration of an internship is dependent on each specific assignment.

Start Date: May 2026 (SUMMER Internship)
• Work Location & Details:
  • Hybrid - remote work and in-office attendance required at our Administrative Services Center (1695 State Street Lancaster, PA) or Corporate Headquarters (1 Penn Square Lancaster, PA).
  • Specific in-office days will be communicated by the supervisor.
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week preferred. Monday-Friday. 8:00am - 5:00pm are standard working hours.

  • This role is part of a temporary internship program that requires residence within Fulton Bank's footprint (PA, NJ, DC, DE, MD or VA)
  • Must attend Internship Program events in Lancaster, PA at our Corporate Headquarters (mileage reimbursement offered).
  • Relocation package/support is not offered for this position.
  • Internship assignments will not exceed nine (9) months in duration.

• Assists in a wide range of opportunities with tasks in their assigned department.
• Performs assigned duties in designated department to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance.
• Completes reports on progress in internship program and gives feedback about program to Manager and Talent Acquisition team. Management feedback must indicate satisfactory progress to remain in Internship Program.
• Intern may also participate in career training/education as needed, as well as, corporate events/initiatives.
• Duration of Internship is dependent on individual assignment.

Scope of Work:

The ideal IT Quality Assurance Intern demonstrates strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to pick up technical skills/tasks quickly, attention to detail, high pattern recognition, a sense of urgency, and is viewed as a 'go-getter- operating with enthusiasm and excitement for the role. Responsibilities include:

• Providing hands-on learning opportunities working alongside seasoned QA testers, on various projects and initiatives as assigned, including but not limited to: functional testing, Supporting UAT testing, providing QA automation support and day to day QA functions.
• Working with the QA Manual and QA automation testing teams by supporting testing services in QC ALM, Azure Dev ops and Copado Robotic Testing.
• Assist in writing Test Cases and Scripts, Test Executions and Reporting defects and maintaining defect life cycle .
• Assisting in trainings for end users, investigate tickets and document in Remedyforce.

Required Education:

• Fulton Bank Interns will be expected to have completed, or are currently enrolled and in the process of completing, a four (4) year college degree from an accredited college/university earning a degree.
• If graduated must have been within the last 6 months.
• Strong academic performance is required.

Preferred Education:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred.
• Preference will be offered to rising Juniors and Seniors.
• The following specialty majors and area of study is required based on the needs of the department/project: Finance, Risk, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, and/or Business and Data Analysis related majors.
• IT, Quality Assurance, Development, and/or Data Analysis related coursework is strongly preferred.
  

Required Experience: 0 to 6 months

• 0 to 6 months prior work-related experience is desired, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on assigned areas. May or may now have had previous internship (Preferred).
• Experience requirements will match the needs of the assigned department.
• Ideal candidate is personable, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills through verbal and written communication, and is a motivated 'self-starter' with drive and demonstrated initiative to advance their career.
• Ideal candidate has the ability to work on multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, achieve deadlines, and make progress towards completion, with proven ability to work independently and efficiently after instruction has been given.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Salesforce, QC ALM/QA testing tool, Ranorex/Automation Tool, Azure DevOps and/or SharePoint. Formal training will be provided.
• Familiarity and/or course work focusing some programming languages (C#, Java, etc.).
• Desire to excel in IT field is strongly preferred.

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The hourly rate for this temporary position is $18.
