Network Operations Specialist, Senior - Quantico, VA - Top Secret *Active Secret clearance and IAT Level III certification required* SOC is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to provide technical expertise for daily operations and maintenance of systems; Effectively troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving technical problems to minimize system downtime; Assisting with preparing and maintaining technical documentation, drawings and related artifacts; Support implementation of routine updates, approved upgrades and engineering or design changes; and Help to isolate and resolve technical issues and problems that impact multiple networks, systems, and devices. Technical Experience: Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc.) Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN). Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization. Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices. Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities. Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies. Required Qualifications Minimum Required Education Level High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Active Secret clearance Minimum 8 plus Years Experience in General IT Minimum DOD 8570 Level Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III - Must possess at least two of the following certifications: a CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching, CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
