Security Officer - Residential Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Route in DALY CITY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols and vehicle rounds, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support residents and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will document activity, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, access issues and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including amenities, parking areas, common spaces and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor and help to control access at community entrances and common areas by checking credentials as required, observing vehicle and foot traffic and/or directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Complete routine reports and documentation such as patrol activity, incident reports and/or maintenance observations, and promptly report unusual activity or property concerns through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
