Location/Travel:
This position is primarily remote with occasional travel or on-site work at various organizational locations as needed to support team collaboration and operational priorities.


Responsibilities

Job Summary
This Workforce Development Specialist will coordinate and oversee the organization's programs that will enrich workforce development strategies and efforts to build talent pipelines. The Workforce Development Specialist will also use data and analytics to support the organization's workforce planning process.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to support workforce strategy planning projects & initiatives, workforce goals and outcomes. Leverage internal and external partnerships to maintain an understanding of the healthcare workforce environment, recognize and address trends, report new findings and make recommendations.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and implement system-wide programs to enhance the student experience to support company workforce strategies. Promote employee development and provide job skills coaching, mentoring and other supports.
  • Involved in and attends local, regional, and national community and student recruiting events.
  • Partner with business, industry, economic development organizations, schools, universities, and municipalities to facilitate workforce development training and employment enterprise wide. Develop and maintain community partnerships and foundations in support of company's initiatives. Accountable for regular reporting to demonstrate return on investment. Outlines an annual plan and reports progress and results to ta leadership on a continual basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources management, organization development business administration, health administration or related field. - Required
Experience
  • 3 years in Workforce and Community Development. - Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • Workforce Development Professional and/or Career Development Facilitation - Preferred
