Security Officer - Entry Control Driver

As a Security Officer - Entry Control Driver in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will support access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry points, and responding to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will stay visible, complete routine patrols, and document activity using a computer or tablet. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers a team-first culture built on integrity, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and visitor registration requirements.
• Monitor entry points, credential use, and delivery access to help to deter unauthorized access, and maintain logs for visitors, vendors, packages, and property keys and/or access devices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify on-site management and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas, reporting maintenance concerns and suspicious activity per post orders.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift handoffs, documenting access activity, incidents, and security-related observations using required systems and/or forms.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
